About Contractor Answering AI

We build Contractor Answering AI to answer business calls while contractors and remodelers run their jobs. It takes project requests, records job messages and follows your instructions. Talk to it in the browser demo, then request a free trial.

A small contractor office: plan sheets rolled on a desk, a hard hat, a desk phone, a calendar with no readable text

We built this service around the calls that interrupt a contractor's working day. A homeowner wants an estimate while you are checking a layout. A subcontractor needs the project manager, or a supplier calls with a delivery update. Those calls need useful questions and a clear record of what was said.

Your receptionist answers as your business once you forward your calls. You choose all calls or only no-answer, busy or after-hours traffic. At the start of each conversation, it says it is a virtual assistant and announces that the call is recorded. That disclosure stays on.

Your business provides the instructions. A chat of 10 to 15 questions and your website help the receptionist learn your services, service area, hours and price policy. You define urgency and who receives urgent calls. You can change settings by telling the AI what you need in plain words.

The work is practical: ask the intake questions, take complete messages and book appointments into Google Calendar when you choose. A change request remains a request for your review. The receptionist uses your supplied price policy rather than inventing a quote, and it can speak with callers in English or Spanish.

You get email and app push alerts with call summaries, urgency tags, transcripts and recordings, plus a daily email digest. Those records let you check the conversation and decide what happens next. Urgent calls can go to your on-call person through a warm transfer or page using your chosen order.

We ask you to judge the receptionist by speaking with it. Try a fictional contractor conversation without signing up, then request a free trial for your business if the approach fits your work. Setup happens online through an email sign-in link and onboarding chat. The service is month to month, with online cancellation.

How we work

  • Disclose the assistant Callers hear that a virtual assistant is answering and that the conversation is recorded.
  • Keep the business in control You set services, price policies, intake questions and the people who receive urgent calls.
  • Use supplied facts Your receptionist follows the business information you provide rather than inventing prices, credentials or project answers.
